How this site works

Policies and trust

BroncoFacts is an independent research site. These are the rules behind what we publish, how we correct it, and how we treat visitors.

Independent and not affiliated with Ford

BroncoFacts is published by 1031 Productions as an independent reference. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Ford Motor Company. Ford, Bronco, Bronco II, Bronco Sport, model names, and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the vehicles being discussed.

Editorial method

We prefer factory literature, government records, archives, contemporary reporting, and specialist sources that expose their evidence. Each model-year claim links to its sources. A number with only one source stays visible with attribution; conflicting figures are shown together instead of averaged or silently discarded.

“Researched” means the documented checklist was reviewed and remaining gaps were recorded as of a stated date. It never means history is permanently finished. Market, family, model year, configuration, and production-versus-sales scope remain explicit.

Read the source ledger and method and coverage boundaries for more detail.

Corrections and change history

We welcome specific corrections supported by a document, publication, vehicle label, or clearly identified first-hand observation. Submissions are reviewed before publication and may be summarized, rejected, or held as an unresolved lead. We do not silently rewrite disputed evidence.

Use the correction form. Do not submit VINs, addresses, faces, license plates, confidential records, copyrighted scans, or other sensitive material.

Privacy

The public reference pages use no advertising tracker, behavioral analytics, account system, or third-party font service. Ordinary server logs may contain request time, requested path, browser information, and network address for reliability and security; they are not sold or used to build advertising profiles.

The correction form accepts only the text and optional contact address a visitor chooses to provide. It does not accept uploads. Submitted material is used to review and respond to the report and is not published automatically.

Image and document rights

Published images must have a recorded public-domain basis, a compatible Creative Commons license, or explicit permission. Credits and licenses appear with the image. Ford-origin promotional, press, sales, and archive media are used under the site owner’s documented authorization and are not mislabeled as public domain.

Research references and short factual paraphrases do not imply permission to republish an entire document. Rights or takedown concerns can use the correction form.

Affiliate and recommendation policy

BroncoFacts currently publishes no affiliate placements. If that changes, each compensated link or placement will be disclosed near the recommendation. Payment or commission will never determine factual claims, compatibility, safety guidance, or whether a product is recommended.

Recommendations must remain useful without an affiliate link and must be supported by fitment, safety, availability, independent usefulness, and evidence checks. An unsupported product is omitted rather than filled with a generic ad.

Accessibility

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA: semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, reflow without horizontal scrolling, descriptive link text, image alternatives, reduced-motion support, and clear form errors.

If content or a control is difficult to use, report the page, device, browser, and the task you were trying to complete through the correction form. Accessibility reports receive priority review.

Security

Please report a suspected security problem privately through the correction form and choose “Security.” Do not include secrets, personal data, or exploit another person’s information. The machine-readable policy is at /.well-known/security.txt.
