BRONCOFACTS Trail guide · 1966–present

Sources & method

Evidence before confidence. Key figures are graded, conflicting numbers are preserved rather than averaged, and unknown/disputed/not-applicable are kept distinct.

How to read the numbers

Each key figure carries a confidence badge—High, Medium, or Low. A number without a period, market, and accounting basis is not treated as settled. Where production or specification figures conflict, both values remain in the research record rather than becoming a false single answer.

“Rare” is an editorial conclusion that requires a defined denominator and a source that counts the exact car. We never manufacture a “1 of N” claim by multiplying option percentages together.

Assurance levels

Vehicle conclusions are labelled decoded, factory-record-backed, or physically inspected — three separate claims with separate evidence. A rule-based VIN decode is never called “authenticated,” “certified,” or “matching numbers.”
