The July 13 reveal ends the long wait

Ford produced no model-year 2020 Bronco, but on July 13 it unveiled the two-door, four-door and Bronco Sport family that would reach customers as 2021 models.

No production: Ford did not offer a body-on-frame Bronco for this model year.

This is a complete reveal-year and non-production record. Pandemic disruption displaced Ford's planned spring event, and a briefly announced July 9 date moved to July 13. The broadcast revealed seven body-on-frame Bronco trims, two initial engine estimates, the Sasquatch package and reservation pricing; those launch disclosures are preserved as announcements rather than mislabeled 2020 production specifications.

Reveal moved through a disrupted calendar
Ford's planned spring presentation was disrupted by the pandemic. A later July 9 date was changed, and the public world debut aired July 13, 2020 at 8 p.m. Eastern across ABC, ESPN and National Geographic programming plus Ford's digital channels. [1] [2] [3]

Seven launch trims

Initial 2.3-liter estimate
Ford initially estimated the turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder at 270 hp and 310 lb-ft. Final production ratings were later revised upward, so these are reveal-night figures rather than final specifications. [4] [6] [7]
Initial 2.7-liter estimate
The available twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 was initially estimated at 310 hp and 400 lb-ft. Ford announced a seven-speed manual and a ten-speed automatic across the launch powertrain story, subject to configuration. [4] [6] [7]

Launch design, not 2020 production codes
