2024 Bronco — A smaller lineup, a bigger standard screen

The 2024 U.S. Bronco catalog began with Big Bend after Ford deleted the Base series. Nine named series remained, from the two-door/four-door core lineup through the four-door-only Everglades and Raptor, while Heritage models continued their retro theme.

This page covers the body-on-frame Bronco sold in the United States, not Bronco Sport. Equipment and availability varied by series, body, powertrain, package and production date, so a particular vehicle should be verified from its VIN, certification label and original window sticker.

The 2024 model year simplified the entry point while spreading a previously premium 12-inch touchscreen across every series, an important usability change hidden beneath a mostly familiar exterior lineup.

What changed for this year

Base series deleted: Ford's August 16, 2023 order guide explicitly lists Base under deleted series, leaving Big Bend as the opening series for 2024. [1]
12-inch screen standard: The 12-inch capacitive center touchscreen became standard on every series; it had previously been included with the High Package. [1]
Configuration changes: Outer Banks lost its two-door body, the 2.7-liter V6 was deleted from Big Bend, and the 2.3-liter/ten-speed combination was no longer offered on Badlands. [1]

Nine-series lineup: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, Everglades, Raptor, Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Edition. [1]

Engines and transmissions

2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 (99H): 275 hp and 315 lb-ft on regular fuel, or 300 hp and 325 lb-ft on premium. The seven-speed manual and ten-speed automatic were offered subject to series restrictions. [1]
2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 (99P): 315 hp and 410 lb-ft on regular fuel, or 330 hp and 415 lb-ft on premium, paired with the ten-speed automatic. [1]
3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 (99R): Raptor's premium-fuel V6 produced 418 hp and 440 lb-ft and used the ten-speed automatic. [1] [5]
EPA combined fuel economy: EPA records span 15 to 20 mpg combined across the twelve listed 2024 Bronco configurations: 20 mpg for the standard 2.3/2.7-liter Bronco records, 17-18 mpg for Black Diamond, Badlands and Sasquatch records, and 15 mpg for Raptor. Capability and specifications

Maximum trailer rating: Ford's guide lists up to 3,500 lb for properly equipped standard Broncos and up to 4,500 lb for Bronco Raptor. [2] The exact limit depends on configuration and loading; verify the vehicle labels and towing guide.
Trailer preparation: Trailer Tow Prep Pack became standard on every series except Raptor; the compatible trailer-tow equipment itself was listed as a dealer-installed option. [1] [2]
U.S. calendar-year sales: Ford Authority's model table reports 109,172 Bronco sales for calendar 2024, up 3.32% from 2023. Ford's own year-end release reports 233,873 combined Bronco and Bronco Sport sales but does not separate the two in its narrative. Colors and interiors

Paint changes: Shelter Green was new. Area 51 and Code Orange exterior paint were deleted from the regular paint list; Code Orange instead supplied the accent color for Raptor's new appearance package. [1] [5]
Seat materials: The order guide offered marine-grade vinyl, cloth, leather-trimmed/vinyl and Raptor-specific marine-grade-vinyl or leather-trimmed seating, depending on series and equipment group. [1]

Options and packages

Raptor Code Orange Appearance Package (51A): The late-availability package added Code Orange graphics and accents, beadlock-capable wheels, black-painted roof and mirror caps, and interior Code Orange treatments to Bronco Raptor. [1] [5]
Sasquatch Package: Sasquatch continued to combine 35-inch tires, beadlock-capable wheels, electronic-locking axles, 4.70 final drive, high-clearance flares and upgraded HOSS suspension content; eligibility varied by series. [1]
High/Lux Package: Ford renamed the High Package as High/Lux and included one year of Connected Navigation on eligible Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, Raptor and Heritage Limited configurations. [1]

Safety and recalls

Recall snapshot: NHTSA's model-year query returned 16 safety-recall campaigns that may include a 2024 Ford Bronco as of September 11, 2026. [6] A model-year result does not establish that a specific VIN is affected. Check both NHTSA and Ford with the 17-character VIN.
Driver assistance: Pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking was standard; blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance and a 360-degree camera depended on series or equipment group. [1]

Confirm the exact series: Use the window sticker and Ford's body/order codes instead of appearance alone; Heritage, Sasquatch and Raptor packages can share prominent wheels, flares and graphics. [1]
Check open campaigns: Run the VIN through both NHTSA and Ford before purchase or service because the model-year campaign list is broader than any one vehicle's build and equipment. [6]

Orange without orange paint: Ford announced Raptor's Code Orange package on August 11, 2023—the Bronco nameplate's 58th birthday. For 2024, Code Orange disappeared as a body-paint choice but became the package's visual signature in graphics, tow hooks, wheel rings, belts and cabin accents. [1] [5]
